Partnership Health Canterbury is currently carrying out research into the Primary Health Care needs of our Asian population. This Canterbury-wide project is important to our understanding of the social, educational and health needs of people new to New Zealand.
The object of our project is to ascertain the problems and suggest possible resolutions in the area of primary health care needs. With the increasing Asian population in Canterbury, we regard this project as vital to increasing our knowledge and reducing health discrepancies.
We cannot achieve these aims unless we enlist the help and input of Asian peoples—both newly arrived and long-term residents.
We would welcome the input of any group involved in any aspect of Asian Health Care including members of the public.
For this reason we would appreciate your input—and that of your family—into completing the questionnaire.
