Partnership Health Canterbury continues to promote oral health on behalf of the Canterbury PHOs.

This year has seen a specific focus on reducing the gap in the oral health status of those under five and adolescents. We delivered extra support and oral health resources to 320 Canterbury Early Childhood Education providers and a further 52Early Childhood Education providers in high-deprivation areas, and providers of pregnancy and parenting education programmes.

This initiative has exceeded initial expectations and objectives, and will be funded again in 2011/2012.
