Immunisation is one of the key ways of preventing illness.

Partnership Health practices continue to outstrip national averages in this area. Immunisation rates for our two-year-old children exceed Ministry targets, and we ended the year with a 94% coverage rate. We also actively supported practices to give ‘flu vaccines to under 18-year-olds as a result of the earthquake recovery.
